It had a purpose when we wanted to separate immigrants from other countries, but it became an idiotic idea over a hundred years ago. When non-citizens come to our country and have a baby, the baby has to be considered a citizen of one or both of their parents' country. How stupid is it for foreigners to have a child that is a citizen of our country instead of their own? We even give citizenship to the children of illegals. The children of criminals become future leaders. Remember, the apple doesn't drop far from the tree. Their children should only become citizens when their parents do, and should be a consideration when determining eligibility. |
